East Neuk offer short camper

Scottish converter East Neuk Campervans has launched a sub-5-metre campervan aimed at offering buyers versatility and value-for-money.

The 4.96m-long Fifer Touring Adventure offers three berths and is priced from £36,000 on-the-road. Based on a 110bhp Fiat Ducato SWB high-roof panel van with twin sliding doors, standard equipment includes twin swivel cab seats, driver’s airbag, air-conditioning, cruise control and rear parking sensors.

According to East Neuk, the conversion allows for a ‘unique layout with separate living and sleeping areas.’ The Fifer Touring Adventure offers a 6ft 5in by 4ft 3in transverse double bed or a 6ft 5in by 2ft 1in single at the rear of the ’van. If more sleeping space is required, a 5ft 10in by 2ft single can be made up using the forward-facing seating.

Adjacent to the nearside sliding door is a two-burner hob and sink combination unit, mounted above a 60-litre compressor fridge. Opposite this unit is a pair of belted travel seats, which form a lounge area once the cab seats are spun around.

Additional standard specification includes a 95Ah leisure battery, 140W solar panel, rear speakers, 72-litre fresh water tank, Webasto diesel-fired heating, 15-litre gas tank, Silver Screens, a Porta Potti and an electric step.
Upgrades available include a 130bhp engine (£1,200), automatic gearbox (£1,200), Fiamma F45 awning (£525), roof rack (£495), towbar (£550), and internal front Dometic blinds (£600).

There’s a generous payload, too, with 650kg on offer (base vehicle gross weight is 3,300kg).

For a full road test of the East Neuk Fifer Touring Adventure, read the April 2014 issue of Which Motorhome.
