Dethleffs launches new, budget-market A-class motorhome

f536dfdd-21d6-4f73-80c4-70723f64c08a

Dethleffs is set to challenge the traditional notion that A-class means expensive with the launch of the Trend I 7057 DBM and I 7057 EB. The new Trends come with extensive standard equipment plus rot-proof and wood-free construction materials. There’s a GRP roof and two distinct wood decors with a glossy white finish on some of the furniture. There are three upholstery designs as well. The new Trend A-class come with standard equipment include the wider, Coupe entrance door, the 198x150cm pull-down bed, a 130bhp engine, ESP and TractionPlus and a large garage. There’s also a capacious, 142-litre fridge and soft closing drawers in the kitchen.

The Trend A-class layouts are based on a Fiat Ducato with a low frame chassis. The maximum weight in both layouts is 3,500kg which leaves 514kg for payload.

The new models are available with two layouts, the I 7057 EB with twin single beds and the King-size bed model I 7057 DBM. On the latter the King-size bed is adjustable in height. This way the whole garage space of 115cm can be used while travelling. After arrival and unloading the garage, the bed can be easily lowered making access easy. The bed can also be safely used when it is still in the lifted position. Both vehicles offer a roomy bathroom solution, a large L-shaped kitchen and enough space to work and cook, all on a motorhome length of 7.4m.

Over the entrance door there is a clever magnet board that can be used for notes or photos and being an A-class offers a great panoramic view through the windscreen. Prices are yet to be set as the new Trends will be for the 2017 Dethleffs range and will be officially launched at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon in September.
