Danbury announces the new Choice campervan range
Campervan specialist, Danbury, has announced new derivatives of its long-established Active, Royale, Surf and Trail models (all based on VW Transporter T6), called Choice. Both the Active Choice (rear kitchen and toilet) and Surf Choice (side galley layout) debuted at The Motorhome & Caravan Show 2019 at the NEC.
The concept behind the Choice versions of these popular campervans is to give the customer the opportunity to customise their vehicle at no extra cost.
So, there are three style of 18in alloy wheels to choose from, three floor coverings, three wood finishes, three leather upholsteries, three colours for the elevating roof cap and three alternatives for the roof canvas colour.
As standard, Choice models also come with the 101bhp (102PS) 2-litre TDI engine, height-adjustable passenger cab seat, swivel cab seats with armrests, cruise control, cab air-conditioning, leather steering wheel, DAB radio with 5in screen and Bluetooth, reversing camera, cab carpet, front and rear spoilers, lowered suspension, side bars, privacy glass, alarm, tracker, awning and solar panel.
Prices for the Surf Choice start at £56,495.
For those who prefer a Ford base vehicle, Danbury has also launched the Raven. Based on its Go model, the Danbury Raven is exclusively in black with detailing (exterior stripes and matching piping on the leather seats) in lime green, orange or Sky Blue.
Built on the Transit Custom Trend with 128bhp (130PS) engine, the Raven is priced from £49,995 and comes with 18in alloy wheels, air-conditioning, a sliding seat system, roof bed and privacy glass as standard.
