Carado upgrades its motorhome and campervan line-up

On the motorhome front, Carado has a new layout joining its line up: the I 339, which is an A-class version of the already existent low-profile T 339.

The I 339 measures a tad under 7 metres at 6.97m and features an island bed layout. Ahead of this is the central bathroom, with the toilet and washbasin on one side and a separate shower cubicle opposite. The kitchen is also divided into two with the cooker and sink along one side, and fridge/freezer on the other. With swivelled cab seats and a jump seat by the habitation entrance door, the dinette can seat five. With the option of a drop-down bed, it can sleep 4/5, too.

The OTR price is estimated at £62,750.

The rest of the motorhome range also gets a makeover this season. The standard Santa Cruz upholstery is replaced with Maui Beach, and the addition of LED strips increases lighting in the living areas. Finally, the T 339 has a revised bathroom whereby the repositioning of the WC and shower doors creates a wider passageway.

On to Carado’s 4-strong Vlow campervan line up, this year sees the launch of a special edition range, called the ‘Unlimited.’ This comes built to a higher specification than the regular Vlow, having an upgraded MAXI chassis from 3.3 tonnes to 3.5 tonnes with corresponding lightweight 16-inch aluminium wheel rims and white bumper. You also get sporty graphics and an awning.

The ‘Unlimited’ edition comes kitted with the Chassis-pack (adding air conditioning, passenger airbag, electric and heated mirrors, cruise control and DAB radio) and Comfort-pack (adding leather steering wheel & gear knob, Techno-Trim instrument panel with chrome rings and LED-daytime-running-lights).

OTR prices start at approximately £49,500 for the smallest 540 model, and £51, 650 for the largest 640. This is around 10k more than the regular Vlow, now rebranded as its Entry campervan.
