Camping and Caravanning Club introduce new European motorhome tours
Two new escorted motorhome holidays are joining the Camping & Caravanning Club's European Travel Service collection for 2020 and 2021, one including scenic rail journeys.
The first new tour, Normandy and Brittany, includes pretty coastal villages and fishing ports, the Calvados region, the D-Day landing beaches and the World Heritage Site of Mont St Michel among other things. This tour lasts 20 days starting in Calais in May 2020. The cost including eight excursions and seven meals.
The second tour, 23 days, is called Rail Away Pyrenees and Auvergne, departing June 2020. It features railway trips on the 'Train Rouge', along the Cathar Trail and the Livradois-Forez natural park. The tours starts in Saint-Emilion and then heads through the French and Spanish Pyrenees.
You can take your own motorhome or hire a motorhome through the club and those booking a ferry crossing with the tour will get up to 10% off the crossing and £25 off the tour price.
