Campervan manufacturer IH to sell Swift Motorhomes
West Yorkshire campervan manufacturer, IH Motorhomes, is to sell motorhomes from the Swift Group.
For almost 30 years, IH has specialised in luxury two-berth campervans, based on the Fiat Ducato and VW Crafter. Now it is extending its offering to appeal to a wider audience with a series of Swift motorhomes. The move will see IH offer family and two-berth coachbuilt motorhomes.
Commenting on the new partnership Nick Chandler, Sales Manager at IH, said: “The move is seen as a way to reach a wider audience. IH Motorhomes is synonymous with high-end two-berth models and we’ve no intention of venturing into the four-plus market under our own brand, but we really wanted to attract a wider audience. After taking a good look at how to achieve this aim, it became obvious that the Swift brand would best serve that purpose.”
