Bürstner’s Elegance motorhome now available on Mercedes Sprinter
German motorhome manufacturer, Bürstner, has revealed details of an all-new version of its Elegance A-class motorhome and, for the first time, it’s based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
The new Elegance, which is priced from £118,995 on the 143bhp Sprinter 414 CDI, comes with an integrated double floor and several new innovations, including an electric drop-down bed that lowers towards the windscreen to leave more room in the lounge.
The habitation area has a modern design in white, beige and black, and magnetic tumblers are a novel detail as they attach to surfaces with a magnetic strip or special coasters with a nano gel pad.
There are two models in the new Elegance range: the 910 G (single beds) and the 920 G (island bed). Both are 8.91m long and have a 5,000kg gross weight.
The Elegance also comes with the all-new Thetford iNDUS toilet system, that integrates fresh, grey and black water tanks and offers one-stop emptying.
In other news, Bürstner’s slim (2.2m wide) Travel Van gets a facelift, with new tail lights and one-handed opening of the garage door.
Inside, there’s new Sandy Grey furniture and a Vario washroom (with swing-wall shower), while the two versions both get upgraded to Harmony Line spec with a graphite-coloured cab, overcab Skyroof and embroidered upholstery.
Delfin motorhomes return for 2021
In other news from the German motorhome and campervan manufacturer, it has confirmed there are still two Travel Van layouts available to British motorhome manufacturers – the T 590 G (transverse double bed, £57,995), and the T 620 G (single beds, £59,995).
The Delfin motorhome name also makes a comeback, this time the Delfin motorhomes are based on the Fiat Ducato but retain the earlier model’s striking blue exterior features.
Three Delfins are available:
- T 680 G (6.93m long) has a large, side settee lounge and rear washroom and garage
- T 727 G (7.41m long) has a layout featuring rear twin single beds and a face-to-face front lounge
- T 736 (7.41m long) has a rear island bed layout and also features a face-to-face lounge at the front.
The Delfin range comes to the UK in Harmony Line trim starting at £58,995.
Bürstner campervans
Also new are the Eliseo Active campervans. There are four models with prices starting from £45,995:
- C 540 (transverse double)
- C 543 (like the 540 but with cupboards in place of rear passenger seats)
- C 600 (rear double) and
- C 641 (lengthways singles).
