Brownhills say focus is on customer service excellence

BROWNHILLS Group will no longer supply six makes of motorhome following a £46 million management buyout.The company will however represent 17 manufacturers and say the deal secures the jobs of its 365 staff.
Bosses are also launching a Customer Services Charter over the coming months that they say will focus on giving customers “the best possible service”.
And they have reiterated a pledge to honour all previous Brownhills warranties and deposits already paid on vehicles.
In a statement released by the company today, a spokesman said: “Working closely with business advisors Kroll and our existing funders we have agreed a comprehensive and robust three year business plan. This plan focuses on core activities such as retail market penetration, growth in aftersales revenues and the expansion of Brownhills' service departments.”
The spokesman added: “We would also like to reassure our customers that the management have undertaken to honour all previous Brownhills warranties and deposits already paid on vehicles.”
The statement added: “Despite discontinuing arrangements with six manufacturers Brownhills still represents 17 manufacturers with a spread of marques across the breadth of motorhome offerings from the UK, Europe and US.
At the time of publishing this article, it was not clear which six manufacturers the group no longer represent but they do include Euromobil, TEC, Hobby and Lunar.
All branches will continue under the management buyout.
