Bailey invests £250k in capital equipment

Bailey has invested a further £250,000 in capital equipment, increasing the capacity of its laminating plant.

The new Alu-Tech construction system, featured in the brand-new motorhome range, places greater demands on this part of the production process as all body shell panels are fully laminated. This gives the overall structure greater strength and rigidity when compared to the classic construction assembly.

During the winter months Bailey will also start developing the additional 4.5 acres of land it acquired in January 2009. Once the land has been cleared the first new building will be a dedicated motorhome pre-inspection dispatch centre where both the cab and habitation area of the vehicles can be fully commissioned prior to being transported to retailers.
