Auto-Trail celebrates its 10,000th factory visitors

Auto-Trail has just celebrated its 10,000th factory visitors.

Auto-Trail Comanche owners, Mr and Mrs Judge and their dog, Misty, were presented with a bottle of champagne and flowers to celebrate.

Auto-Trail has been conducting tours of its production facility in Grimsby since it opened there in 2002.

“Every year we hold an open day for Auto-Trail Owners’ Club members but there are also monthly factory tours, when visitors make donations to the charities being supported by our staff,” said Scott Stephens, general sales and marketing manager for Auto-Trail.

“In four years of fundraising we have collected almost £20,000, with the proceeds this year going to Help for Heroes.

“Visitors are fascinated by our construction techniques as there’s a lot about our motorhomes that’s concealed by the familiar furnishings and fittings. They soon realise why their Auto-Trail is something just that extra bit special.”
