Take a look back at a year of great motorhoming
Despite everything, 2021 was a great year for motorhoming. You’ve been busy travelling and doing projects, while the MMM team has been madly reviewing every motorhome we can get our hands on.
Letters is one of the most popular sections of the magazine, with 286 topics from Covid to Clubs and more, while we also published over 100 of your favourite photos (with sunsets, pets and partners to name but a few subjects).
And, yes, while our travels were curtailed slightly due to Covid, contributors racked up a pretty impressive 37,000 miles, with some pre-Covid trips offering inspiration as well as a series of adventures during the pandemic covering all corners of the UK, as well as Germany, Italy, France and Spain.
Across 65 trips, expenditure on ferries, attractions, campsites and fuel totalled well over £21,000. Plus, we reviewed over 200 campsites!
We (and you) reviewed 46 motorhomes during 2021, from shorter snapshots, to full reviews and owners' reports. That’s nearly £3 million worth of motorhomes and campervans, with an average price of £62,653. Four of these were over £100,000, including the RP Rebellion 4x4 campervan and the Auto-Trail Grande Frontier A-class…
Our tech experts answered 123 of your questions over the year, with tyre pressures, base vehicle and electric questions cropping up regularly. Readers racked up nearly 70 hours of project time, spending over £6,000 making adaptions, from completely changing a lounge seating to adding a kitchen shelf.
