A Ford campervan for under £30,000?

British van convertor, Auto Campers, is to launch an entry-level campervan based on the new short-wheelbase Ford Transit Custom.

It will be priced at £29,995 and is expected to be the first campervan based on the new Transit that will cost under the £30k ceiling.

Roy Wood Transit – which owns Auto-Campers – already holds the franchise for Wellhouse, the first British converter to make campervans on the new Ford Tourneo Custom.

This model, known as the Wellhouse Terrier is priced at £10,000 more than the new Auto Campers model.
