Hillside Leisure

f33c637f-280d-44d8-a020-dab5494f2af5

Hillside Leisure has changed a lot over the years but at our core we are still the same family business that was established by the Cross brothers in 2004. To this day Hillside is still owned and managed by Adrian and David Cross who. Both of them have many years of experience in the motor industry as well as enjoying camping with friends and family.

Based in Derby, we realised years ago that there was a serious shortage of high quality campervans that were flexible enough to be used more than once or twice a year. Being enthusiastic campers ourselves, we knew all too well the hassles of going on holiday in traditional caravans and motorhomes; most of them are too big for anything other than parking on a campsite and staying put. So we decided to develop our own range that were not only suitable for exploring your holiday location with ease, but that could also be used just as well as an everyday vehicle.

What truly sets us apart from other manufacturers is the standard that we strive to achieve. As a family run business, we know how important family is. Our campervans are built with that in mind, to be as safe as possible. With that as our focus we have NCC approval for many of our campervans, along with European Community Whole Vehicle type Approval for all our VW Transporter T6 models (the highest safety approval possible). On top of that we are also a Volkswagen registered Transporter T6 bodybuilder.

But that doesn't mean that we're going to stop there. We are constantly striving to improve our range and keep up to date with the latest safety standards as well as the very latest technology and equipment. Whether it's investing in our ever-growing team of craftsmen, or acquiring the best and latest equipment, we believe there is always room for us to improve and expand upon our already extensive range of award-winning campervans
