Spain has awesome canyons and majestic mountains, charming cities and abundant wildlife – it’s full of delights. On this trip we travel south from Bilbao to Soria then southwest to Soria and the Sierra do Gredos detouring into Portugal (which was a separate article, run in the August 2018 issue of MMM). On the return to Spain the trip took in Salamanca, the Sierra de la Culebra, Burgos and Haro and back to Bilbao. 23 days of this tour were spent touring Spain.
