Poston Mill, Herefordshire

Poston Mill is a great campsite catering for man’s best friend. Not only is there 10 acres of dog walking on local footpaths and nature trails, but there’s also an on-site dog wash and hairdryer for when your pet gets muddy and needs a wash and blow dry. With the Golden Valley and its picturesque rolling countryside being the base for Poston Mill, the whole area is full of walking and nature trails for all to explore. There’s also a bus stop at the campsite entrance and local bike hire can be arranged, so travelling about is easy. On-site facilities include a shop selling the essentials and walking maps, a play area, pitch and putt, and even a games room with snooker table.
Kielder Caravan Park, Northumberland

The area has over 600 square kilometres of forest and 27 miles of shoreline for you and your four-legged friend to explore. There’s a range of walks from challenging trails to leisurely strolls so you can choose a pace to suit you. There are also water activities, cycling, a pool, a bird of prey centre and a host of other things to do. It’s still beautifully quiet here though, and you may spot red squirrels and some of the many deer who call this place home. Some of the campsite pitches overlook Kielder Water and there are full facilities, with 90 hardstanding pitches, backed by the forest.
North Morte Farm Caravan & Camping Park, Devon

Adjoining National Trust land, North Morte Farm is just 500 yards from Rockham Beach where dogs are welcome all year. Woolacombe with its golden sandy beaches and popular watersports beach is also nearby. North Morte Farm also has direct access to the Southwest Coast Path where canine chums can walk for miles. Five minutes’ walk from the campsite takes you to the village of Mortehoe which has shops, restaurants and pubs, including The Smugglers’ Rest, which allows dogs in the bar. Most pitches at North Morte have electric and facilities include a toilet and shower block, shop, laundry and a play area.
Kelling Heath, Norfolk

Set in 250 acres of open heathland and native woodland, Kelling Heath has got open space covered. There are literally miles of trails for walking and cycling, and a range of wildlife and species of birds to look out for. The campsite is close to the coastline at Weybourne, which has a dog-friendly beach and also when refreshment is needed the Ship Inn in the village welcomes dogs. Kelling Heath offers a range of recreational and leisure facilities, which include indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts and a health and fitness club. There are also heated amenity buildings, a choice of pitch types, a shop and laundry. The Village Square at the heart of the campsite has a choice of places to eat and drink.
Bingham Grange Touring & Camping Park, Dorset

Bingham is an adult-only touring park created in the grounds of a Victorian grange farm. The open countryside, woodlands and nature walks along the river are perfect for those with dogs as there’s plenty of natural space to explore. The campsite has its own woodland dog walk and the river is at the edge of the park for when your dog fancies a swim. Beyond the woodland walk is a network of footpaths leading to villages and towns with shops, cafés and street markets. Bingham Grange is also only five miles from the coast and sandy beaches. Almost all pitches at Bingham are fully serviced hardstandings and most sizes of motorhomes can be accommodated. Facilities include wet rooms, private shower rooms, a laundry, and a bar and restaurant with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings.
