What to see at the 2017 NEC motorhome show – Swift Escape 604 motorhome
Here is the latest budget coachbuilt motorhome from Swift, which is Britain's largest leisure vehicle manufacturer. See it at the National Motorhome and Caravan Show on stand 6.31/6.41
Extending its sales and outgrowing the buoyant motorhome market proves Swift is doing things right. It said its sales were up 21% in 2017, with the Escape coachbuilt models its most popular single range.
And it is in this budget range of coachbuilt motorhomes that the new 604 sits.
This new model brings the number of Escapes in the range up to nine. The 604 is a compact coachbuilt at just 6m-long. It is a four-berth (a double made from the lounge and another double courtesy of the drop-down bed) and can carry four people thanks to the twin rear travel seats.
The layout is completed with a central kitchen, complete with oven, microwave and three-burner hob, and a rear washroom with full shower.
But it is the large lounge, with its twin side facing sofas and that oh so convenient drop-down bed that make this model so appealing…and of course its price at £47,580.
