What to see at the 2017 NEC motorhome show – Chausson 711 Welcome Travel Line motorhome
Here is the very innovative new 711 motorhome from French manufacturer Chausson. See it at the National Motorhome and Caravan Show on stand 8.30
With the 711 Travel Line, Chausson delivers luxurious travel for four with a layout that’s unique, with two real cab seats situated behind the driver and passenger seats. When parked up, all four seats swivel around a removable table to create the dining area.
To the rear, there’s a large and very comfortable U-shaped lounge during the day, while an electric hideaway bed is lowered at night; a second electric bed is stowed up front, above the dining area.
The central part of the motorhome feels spacious and airy due to having habitation doors on both sides. The kitchen has been enhanced, too, with a longer worktop and, for the UK only, a new cooker with full oven.
There’s a large garage, too, measuring 105 x 48cm, which offers room for bicycles, etc, while doors at the side and rear provide access. Also on the outside, you’ll find Chausson’s now-familiar service hatch, as well as the Easy Chef – a slide-out cooker for culinary creativity outside.
The 7.46m-long 711 is based on the Fiat Ducato and is available in two weights – the licence-friendly 3.5-tonne or the heavier 4.25-tonne.
Price is from £54,650.
