What to see at the 2017 NEC motorhome show - Bilbo's Celex campervan
Here is the latest campervan from that Great British VW converter, Bilbo’s. See it at the National Motorhome and Caravan Show on stand 11.140
Bilbo's Motorhomes is celebrating its fortieth anniversary and, to mark this achievement, the Surrey-based VW campervan manufacturer has revealed a special anniversary edition of its most popular model, the Celex.
It’s available in eye-catching Cherry Red and is based on the short-wheelbase VW T6 with either the 100 or 148bhp engine.
Externally, the anniversary model also features a colour-coded rising roof (Bilbo’s own side-hinged design which gives generous headroom when raised) and, internally, the Celex gets additional remote-controlled mood lighting, enhanced rear reading lights, colour-trimmed curtains and matching soft furnishings.
The layout is unchanged with the typical side kitchen, and rock ’n’ roll bench seat/bed. Bilbo’s is also now offering petrol-powered VW campervans.
Prices will be announced at the show.
