Essential Guide to 2020 motorhomes - Auto-Sleepers motorhomes
Auto-Sleepers Corinium Duo motorhome
Only launched as recently as 2017, the Corinium Duo from Auto-Sleepers features a spacious and luxurious layout for two, with the affordability, excellent driving characteristics and handling of Peugeot’s engine and cab married to the premium Al-Ko chassis.
The cab seats swivel to face two inward-facing sofas. This makes for a lovely open-plan living area incorporating the well-equipped kitchen, which offers a four-burner hob, full oven and grill, Dometic microwave and a large fridge-freezer.
In the lounge, the sofas make into a spacious double, but that’s not where you are likely to be sleeping. Step through the door by the kitchen and you enter a bedroom with twin single beds, set at a low level for easy access. Both occupants get their own decent-sized wardrobe set above the foot of each bed, while windows and a large rooflight make this a great place to relax, day or night.
It doesn’t end there, however, as there’s another door that leads into an across-the-rear washroom, which has a separate shower and plenty of floor space.
As is to be expected with an Auto-Sleeper, you won’t need to tick many of the options to fully kit this model out as almost everything you need is standard – 165bhp Peugeot engine, ESP and traction control, tyre pressure monitoring, all the aforementioned kitchen equipment and, new for 2020, a built-in WiFi system.
This layout sells so well in the UK because it’s like a home on wheels with three separate rooms and plenty of space to entertain.

Auto-Sleepers Bourton motorhome
If you want a Mercedes-based motorhome with British quality and design, then the Bourton has to be at the top of your must-see list.
This model has an incredibly large lounge up front with two long sofas and cab seats that swivel round to provide on-site armchairs. Then, at the rear, you’ll find the washroom and the kitchen as well as a large wardrobe.
The lounge can be converted into two single beds or an extra-large transverse double, by simply sliding the seat bases out to meet in the middle and dropping the backrest cushions into place.
The Mercedes underpinnings mean you get a great engine (163bhp), which can be ordered with the class-leading automatic gearbox if desired.
If you’re after for a more compact model, consider the new Mercedes-based Stanton with similar layout in a sub-6m body.

Auto-Sleepers Broadway EK TB LP motorhome
The British weather may be one reason why large lounges have always been a favourite of UK motorhomers. This Broadway offers plenty of relaxing space with the cab seats turned round to face two long sofas. There’s also plenty of room to entertain friends, especially with the built-in cocktail cabinet.
Choose between two single beds or a large transverse double at night, with both options taking just moments to set up.
The main kitchen unit sits along the rear with a oven and grill, dual-fuel hob (running off gas and electric) and large sink. A unit further forward is home to the fridge/freezer, a useful area of worktop and the aforementioned drinks area.
Finally the washroom sits in the rear corner with a sink that is attached to a movable panel, which pivots to create a shower.
