The 660 Exclusive Line is a low-profile with an innovative layout and a full range of equipment. This unique layout is available for the first time as an Exclusive Line version, the ultimate by Chausson.

The 660 manages to offer, in less than 7m, a modular U-shaped lounge suitable for up to eight people, two XL entrance doors, a large kitchen with glass wall, a 160cm-wide electric drop-down bed and a large garage.

This large and clever living room can be transformed to suit individual needs, either to be a U-shaped or L-shaped lounge, thanks to two quickly movable seats. In addition to the main entrance, a large side entrance allows access to the garage and the storage space, which is truly a multipurpose room with plenty of capacity. The large kitchen, the bar in the entrance and the retractable mount (capable of holding a 32in TV) increase this feeling of conviviality.

The powerful 170bhp engine is standard, as is the excellent six-speed automatic transmission, new gloss black 16in alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, automatically switched headlights and windscreen wipers. Inside, there’s manual in-cab air-conditioning, double airbags, cruise control, wrap-around cab blinds, central locking for the habitation and cab doors, a Triplex cooker with oven, grill and three burners, as well as a premium mattress; the list goes on...

Of course, the 660 Exclusive Line benefits from the same strengths as all Chausson low-profiles: water tightness guaranteed for seven years, floor and roof thickness above the market standard (55mm for the roof and 64mm on the floor), Styrofoam insulation, and Grade III certification, meaning the motorhome can be used all year round.

The USP of the 640 is the space and comfort you feel in a motorhome that is only 6.99m long. The layout offers a maxi face-to-face lounge, a large hideaway bed that’s 160cm wide, a maxi bathroom with dressing area and a garage.

Chausson’s Smartlounge concept enables the sofas to be quickly transformed into two comfortable seats for road use. No matter what your budget or specification needs, there is a 640 to suit as it is available in three different specifications:

  • The First Line is available on Fiat chassis or Ford chassis, and offers an affordable option, yet still providing a good level of standard equipment.

  • The Titanium VIP model comes on a Fiat chassis (with 140bhp engine and automatic gearbox). It includes Fiat First Line equipment, such as 16in alloy wheels, taupe grey side walls, etc.

  • At the top, the Titanium Premium comes as standard on the Ford chassis (equipped with a 170bhp engine with automatic gearbox), including Ford First Line equipment (new gloss black 16in alloy wheels, wrap-around cab blinds, central locking for the habitation and cab, premium mattress, etc).

S514

The bedroom on the S514

Specifications

Price:

from £46,840

Base vehicle:

Ford Transit 130bhp manual gearbox

Layout:

Transverse bed

Berths:

2 (+ 1 option)

Travel seats:

4

Length:

5.99m

Gross weight:

3,500kg

Payload:

900kg

This S514 is part of a new range of low-profiles offered by Chausson. It is narrower, shorter and less expensive than a classic low-profile. It offers the same structure and insulation as a low-profile, but with a size closer to that of a campervan.

The advantages of the S514 are its compactness, its good handling and its affordable price. It offers two to three berths with an unusual butterfly bed at the rear that maximises storage and provides wardrobe space.

The standard First Line equipment level gathers up all the essential features. These include manual cab air-conditioning, a driver and passenger airbag, swivel seats in the cab with double armrests and adjustable height, plus a flyscreen door.

Of course, both of the ‘S’ low-profiles (as well as this S514, there is the 6.59m-long S697GA model with single beds) benefit from the same strengths as the other Chausson low-profiles: water tightness is guaranteed for seven years, floor thickness (64mm) surpasses the market standard, there’s GRP on the roof, floor and sides, Styrofoam insulation, and Grade III certification for cooler-weather camping.
