Acare Leisure/Autohaus now offers camper conversions and servicing

Acare Leisure/Autohaus is a name that will be new to many of us, unless you happen to have come across them in your search for a motorhome service provider in Somerset.

The company has now moved to its new workshops in Minehead and can offer customers an annual habitation service, valeting, wash & wax, damp repairs, accident damage and the company is insurance approved. It can also offer full servicing and MoTs for your camper/motorhome.

The workshop has a well-stocked parts and accessories shop and A-care is an agent for Calor Gas.

Acare Leisure offers a full mobile emergency service covering the whole of Somerset, North Devon down to Exeter, Torbay, and the South Coast as far as Weymouth and across to Bristol.

However this is just one side of the business after owner Tony Payne bought Autohaus, a camper conversion brand.

Now he can offer a new range of campers, that have a lot of thought put into them. This starts with the in-house rising roof, with a new hinge that is less likely to pinch the canvas when the roof is being lowered. There are also plans to include a moulded well on top to allow a solar panel to be neatly mounted.

The rock-n-roll bench seat in the rear has also been custom designed for the Autohaus conversions. The furniture is different to the norm too, with a massive choice of colours and patterns, along with Corian worktops.

Although the company can offer standard conversion of the T4 and T5 Volkswagens, but can also custom convert any make of van.
