The Swift Elegance Grande 635 is eight feet wide, with a secluded rear bedroom, high-end spec and bags of style.

The most impressive sector of the Elegance Grande 635 is the bedroom. It's packed with style and with storage features seen in no other caravan.

It has a dedicated TV wall, on the near side, clad in white ripple-effect boarding. A TV bracket and connections are on a wooden panel that bisects the feature wall. Speakers and tiny spotlights are set into a panel above. A shelf runs under the white rippled panel. On each side are wedge-shaped cabinets.

You can shorten the length of the bed to increase floor space. But the extra 17 cm width of the Elegance Grande, compared with standard Elegance models, makes this unnecessary.

Two USB ports are beside the bed. An upholstered panel surrounds the window, with no curtains.

The huge washroom is forward of the bedroom. It contains a third wardrobe (two are in the bedroom). A five shelf space cabinet is alongside the shower on the nearside. A panel radiator, part of the Alde system, is on the rear wall with a towel loop above it.

The washbasin, on the nearside, is of domestic proportions.

Two more USB ports are in the lounge. The kitchen has a hinged extension surface. The sink is rimless, recessed into the worktop. There’s a 190-litre fridge freezer opposite.

Beside it, alongside the door, is the television position. It includes a bracket and connections. Below this is a cabinet. It’s big enough to hide away two pairs of shoes as you walk inside. We don’t think Swift designed it for shoes but that’s an important practical feature which we applaud.

Elegance Grandes have rear view cameras, Alde heating, 30-litre internal water tank, and two twin USB ports. Plus, there is a Tracker security system and alarm, and ATC stability control.
