Sterling caravans are made by the Swift Group, which has significantly upgraded their spec this year. Shock absorbers come as standard, and should give you a towing experience that’s more forgiving on bad road surfaces. A microwave is standard, the fridge gets electronic ignition, there’s a tow hitch stabiliser and a radio/CD/MP3 player. No AL-KO ATC anti-snake though, and you will find it in competitors from Bailey and Lunar.
Swift makes, essentially, the same caravan in Swift Charisma, Abbey Vogue and Ace Jubilee versions. The prices are the same and the differences mainly cosmetic. The Europa’s streets ahead of the others, with its contemporary look inside and out.
