The Sprite Super Quattro FB is an eight-foot-wide six-berth caravan with a double bed and a super-sized dining area — and its MTPLM is only 1700 kg

A side dining area capable of seating five and a lounge that’s long enough to seat three each side makes the super-sized Sprite Super Quattro FB a caravan to consider if you like to entertain friends and family.

This is a six berth, with a fixed double bed, a central dining area that makes into a double bed and a lounge long enough to convert to single beds or a double.

The fixed double bed at the rear is on the nearside with the washroom alongside it. This layout closely resembles those of the Elddis Avanté 840, Compass Casita 840 and Lunar Quasar 686.

A key difference is that the Sprite Super version of this superb family layout has two wardrobes, one on each side of the caravan. The one on the nearside is where the table is stored. The one on the offside is slightly larger.

Both have good shelf space for footwear beneath the hanging area. The offside wardrobe has a long mirror so you can inspect your holiday outfits from head to foot. That’s a rarity in any caravan.

Kitchen storage is two overhead lockers plus a cabinet between the fridge and oven. Inside this cabinet there is a holder for the drainer, a cutlery drawer and a metal basket shelf.

The presence of plumbing and ducting slightly restricts the storage capacity here.

Sprite Supers come with Swift’s Diamond Pack, which adds £610 to the price and gives buyers a DAB radio, a hitch-head stabiliser, alloy wheels, a door fly-screen, two Al-Ko Secure wheel lock receivers, four scatter cushions and a microwave oven. These models also come with a panoramic sunroof, which adds £365 to the price.

In the washroom, there is a towel loop plus a double hook. A small shelf is in the shower cubicle for shampoos.
