The Camping & Caravanning Club has appointed a new Director General, namely Sabina Voysey.

Sabina is the first woman to hold the position of Director General at the club. She takes over from Robert Louden MBE, who retires later this year after 25 years at the Club, 12 of which were as Director General.

In 2002, Sabina joined the Club and Finance Manager. In 2010, the Club appointed her as its finance director, taking on responsibility for HR in 2013. Sabina became the Deputy Director General in 2017. She has an MBA and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Sabina is a keen country walker and spends much of her spare time exploring the UK with her family in the great outdoors.

She stated:

"I'm very proud and excited that I will be succeeding Robert as The Camping and Caravanning Club's next Director General when he retires. I'm looking forward to working closely with our dedicated staff and voluntary officers as we embark upon the next exciting chapter in the Club's long history."

Sabina will work with Robert (who gained an MBE for his services to the Outdoor Recreation Industry in 2013) between now and his retirement to create a smooth handover.
