Expanding and improving in the industry since its formation in 1999, the Caravan Storage Site Owners’ Association (CaSSOA) now represents safe storage facilities across the country, setting the standard in security measures with over 400 members nationwide.
While caravan security accessories will deter criminals, a secure storage facility can stop them before they can even get to your caravan.
You could save money, too. Many insurance companies will look at where you store your tourer to assess the risk of it being stolen. Using a CaSSOA site can often reduce the price of your premium because of how secure the facilities are.
Stuart Craig from Shield Total Insurance explains: “We are a key supporter of the Caravan Storage Site Owners’ Association (CaSSOA) and recognise the high standard of security provided.
"If your caravan is stored in a CASSOA-approved secure storage site, we allow a discount of up to 25%."

Becci Rooke, CaSSOA administrator told Caravan: “We regularly assess all our sites to ensure that security features including perimeter fencing, access control and alarm systems are meeting our continually evolving standards.
"If you choose to store your caravan at a CaSSOA accredited storage site not only will you benefit from independently verified levels of security but you may also save on your caravan insurance premium.
"CaSSOA storage sites offer a secure alternative to storing your caravan on your driveway, and with over 400 sites nationwide there’s sure to be a location convenient for you.”
To find out where you can store your caravan, search for your nearest CaSSOA site.
