Powrwheel further develops its caravan mover

POWRWHEEL has announced a raft of improvements to its Powrtouch caravan mover.

It has created a state-of-the-art, electronic control system that comes with a compact handset that sits in the palm of the user’s hand.

The system provides more robust signals that work over longer ranges and, more importantly, gives more energy to the electric motors.

To further enhance its ease of use, Powrtouch has introduced a four-stage variable speed control which the company says enables the trickiest of manoeuvres to be completed with confidence – direction of movement can even be altered while the caravan is already moving.

The new, smooth-control function allows less power to be used while completing a series of manoeuvres and therefore extends the life of the battery between changes.

Other new designs include improved weather proofing on the handset and additional fault-warning LED lights on the control box.

It retains the features of its predecessor including soft start, power-saving hibernation mode, built-in motor overload protection, safety isolation switch, two-button switch-on (that prevents accidental activation) and back-up cable.

The movers come with a fully comprehemsive, five-year parts and labour guarantee.
