New sites for the CCC

Teversal, formerly known as Shardaroba Caravan Park, offers 100 pitches and won gold in last years' Enjoy England Excellence Awards. New owners Chris and Jane Woods who have a seven-year-old son, both gave up jobs in the care industry to take over Teversal.

"This represents a complete change of lifestyle for our family" says Chris. "We are very excited to be working with the club and look forward to welcoming friends old and new."

The 55 pitch Troutbeck site in Cumbria has been taken over by Fraser and Suzanne Smith, who were taken with the site as soon as they saw it. "From our new site you can see the magnificent mountain scenery, and it is ideally situated between the Eden valley, Ullswater and Borrowdale." Say Suzanne. "It was love at first sight - we just had to have it."

The two sites are the latest in the club's expanding franchise scheme, which offers the chance to buy and run a club site, with the advice and support of the CCC.
