Lunar Caravans go into the 2015 season with two new models, a lot of styling changes, and a complete redesign of this manufacturer’s Venus brand.

Venus will have two family layouts in the new range.

The new Venus models will be wider than previously, rising from 2.12m to 2.15m.

A new Quasar model will be launched in September. The six-berth 586, with bunk beds and an offside dining area, will make its debut at the Lawns caravan show at Cottingham, East Yorkshire, on 6 and 7 September.

A new Lexon 590 arrives for 2015, with twin beds at the rear of the caravan and the shower room on the offside.

Venus

The complete Venus line-up is new. The smallest Venus is a 460/2, a two-berth with a rear shower room.

The 540/4 has a fixed bed and end shower room.

The 550/4 has twin beds; the shower room is across the rear.

These three models are launched now. A further two models, both six-berths, will arrive later this year.

Lunar Quasar

Changes for 2015 are largely cosmetic. A new six-berth Quasar will be launched in September.

Lunar Lexon

This range gets an enhanced Truma blown-air heating system that now includes isotherm ducting. Air ducts of a smaller diameter than the main air ducts are fitted behind seat backs.

Lunar Clubman and Delta

The Clubman and twin-axle Delta layout line-up goes into 2015 unchanged. The style features of the Clubman Saros Edition, produced during 2014 to celebrate Lunar’s 40th year, are in the 2015 Clubmans. These are the long, slim opening skylight surrounded by a white oval frame, steeply-curved bed heads and cream high-gloss locker doors.
