Lunar Chateau 450

The Lunar Chateau is an extremely well designed and well-made caravan with a number of excellent features such as the combined awning and spotlight, bench cassette toilet with a lever arm operated mechanism, and plenty of storage space in the roof lockers. It's a five berth so one berth has to be a bunk. But it is a reasonable size - 1.68m x 0.64m (5ft 6in x 2ft 1in) - and so should suit the couple with a growing family.

The washroom and toilet is more than adequate for the family's needs. However, the kitchen lacks work surfaces and the freezer compartment is too small for a family of four - let alone five. Overall however, this van will win many friends. But at around £10,000 is it good value for money? We'd say: "Yes".
