A new wood is going to be created at Ludlow's exciting £3 million luxury touring caravan and motorhome park to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee this year.

Morris Leisure is planting 750 trees at the five star touring park as part of the company's landscaping and screening work. The Shrewsbury based company have been offered native trees to cover 0.4 hectares as part of the Woodlands Trust's MOREwoods scheme and Jubilee Woods Project.

The 135-pitch park is located alongside the River Teme on the outskirts of the ancient Shropshire town of Ludlow. The park opens on 9th May and is generating huge interest from caravanners.

Morris Leisure's managing director Edward Goddard said: 'We are delighted to be planting 750 native trees to not only enhance the landscaping of our new touring and motorhome park but also to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in such a creative way.'
