Hobby teams up with new Denmark camping museum

378dfaa6-f1f5-43b6-81d4-09156d649dda

Caravan, motorhome and campervan manufacturer, Hobby, is supporting a new camping museum in Denmark, providing some of its products for an exhibit

The Camping Outdoor Museum

The Camping Outdoor Museum, which opened in May this year, is located at Egeskov on the island of Fyn, and explores the history of Danish camping holidays throughout the years, as well as looking towards the future of camping and outdoor holidays.

Hobby has supplied a family caravan with bunks as well as a campervan without any fittings; instead, you'll find movable modules to represent the kitchen, cabinets and table, allowing visitors to design their own campervan.

Hobby will then collate the ideas and possibly incorporate them into future designs. Hobby is also supplying a Beachy caravan for display.

This collaboration is expected to last for two years, being updated throughout that time.
