Hobby makes its 600,000th caravan!
German caravan maker, Hobby, made its 600,000th caravan today.
The production team hauled the line, checked it and went back to work to make sure they could make 100 caravans that day too.
Caravans first rolled off their production line over 50 years ago, and the company now makes around 13,500 caravans a month. Now, in the Fockbek factory, 1,250 employees make caravans and motorhomes for couples and families with numerous layouts.
Head of Production, Stefan Lühe, said:
“My team and I are incredibly proud that we have produced the 600,000th Hobby caravan today, and that huge numbers of the products made by us in Fockbek can be found at every campsite throughout Europe.”
