The Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire Caravan Manufacturers’ Association (HERCMA) has cancelled both its trade and public caravan shows, due to take place in Harrogate this September, because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Held annually in September, the trade show, which was to be preceded by a new public show this year, sees major manufacturers from the caravan and leisure vehicle industry launching their new season models to parks, dealers and distributors from across the world, alongside many other companies showcasing accessories, products and services.

HERCMA Chairman, Nigel Smailes, said: “In light of the current circumstances, we feel we have no choice but to cancel this year’s event. The industry will need time to heal after the pandemic and we hope at this difficult time that everyone stays safe and well. We will announce dates for next year’s events in due course and look forward to seeing everyone there.”
