In a time when people aren’t prepared to work their way up from lowly jobs, one employee at Yorkshire Caravans is bucking the trend.

Cheryl’s talent, skills and energy saw her rise through various roles in the business including working in reception, internet sales, in the shop, accounts department. And, for the last year, Cheryl has been in the after care administration team.

Cheryl has a new position as the retailer's After Care Manager.

Andrew Whittaker, Yorkshire Caravans Managing Director, said:

“Cheryl has shown lots of ambition and demonstrated all the skills that we look for in our managers, and she was the natural choice to be able take our level of after care service to the next level.”

“She is a great organiser, has a great work ethic and I have no doubt that she will prosper in her new role.”

Cheryl’s new role means she has responsibility for the company’s service work, warranties and pre-delivery inspections. She will work with Tracy Brown who joins her who joins as After Care Administration.

Cheryl said:

“Yorkshire Caravans is a wonderful place to work and this is a fantastic opportunity which I’m really looking forward to.”

“Taking up the role in peak season has meant a busy first few weeks but, as things settle down, it will be great to take a look at procedures and make some positive changes that will benefit our customers.”
