First caravan with extending side - NEC Show update
The Fifth Wheel company has launched Inos, a caravan whose sides extend to create a huge living area, at this week's NEC show. This is the first time caravanners have access to this impressive technology, until now only available in motorhomes.
It costs £36,000.
Go Caravan magazine have now seen inside the Inos and can report that the extending side gives it a phenomenal L-shaped lounge area, with a flatscreen TV on the wall opposite. The lounge is, by necessity, towards the rear of the caravan - and you create the space by pushing a button - the whole side sofa and table assembly then moves outwards. Inos is the first-behind-a-car caravan made by Fifth Wheel, a North Wales based company who make 'fifth wheelers:' caravans with a nose cone which attaches to a flatbed truck.
