Erwin Hymer Group UK open weekend to reveal 2020 motorhomes, campervans and caravans to the public


Motorhome and caravan manufacturer, the Erwin Hymer Group UK, which manufacturers the Elddis, Compass, Xplore and Buccaneer ranges, is hosting an open weekend (Saturday 21 to Sunday 22 September), which will provide a unique opportunity to see all its new 2020 motorhomes, campervans and caravans, as well as factory tours and the chance to avail of some special offers.

Every year, the manufacturer opens its doors to the public to provide a unique insight into the design and production of its multi-award-winning ranges.

The weekend gives visitors the opportunity to see how and where its models are built, but also the chance to among the first people to see the all-new 2020 ranges, as well as a special event package worth up to £1,195 for those who buy at the event.

The event is supported by the manufacturer’s dealers from across the UK, who will be there to discuss part-exchange and/or finance options.

First-timer buyers will receive a Starter Pack from their chosen dealer ready for their first adventure.

Those taking the factory tour will see how the caravans and motorhomes are built and fully bonded with SoLiD construction, as well as being able to talk to the designers, engineers and manufacturing team.

The manufacturer's partners, such as Whale, Alde and E&P Hydraulics, will also be on-hand to answer questions on the latest gadgets and technology fitted to the motorhomes and caravans.

Other attractions include towing and motorhome manoeuvring advice and also advice from The Camping and Caravanning Club and The Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Entry is free, but places to the open weekend must be booked online here.

The event, which runs over both days from 10am to 4pm, takes place at the Elddis factory, (via Butsfield Lane) Delves Lane, Consett, County Durham DH8 7PE.
