Swedish outdoor specialist, Dometic, has added to its portfolio with Büttner Elektronik, a German-based provider of mobile power solutions for the outdoor market

New strength in power solutions

The company says Büttner's products will strengthen its offering in power solutions for the motorhome, caravan and camping sector in Europe, including solar systems, batteries and chargers. Dometic said this is one of the fastest growing segments in the market.

Juan Vargues, President and CEO of Dometic, said,

Our strategy for profitable expansion in mobile living is built on a combination of organic and acquisitive growth. This is our sixth announced acquisition this year and our pipeline of potential future acquisitions remains strong

The takeover of Büttner follows on from a series of international acquisitions. Büttner has 17 employees and an HQ in Neuenkirchen, Germany with a €13 million net sales value in 2020.
