Caravan owners love to name their tourer, says insurance expert

Over 80% of caravanners love to name their pride and joy, according to research undertaken by caravan and motorhome insurance specialists Caravan Guard.

In a recent survey, 81% of the owners questioned by the caravan insurance experts revealed that they had a name for their caravan.

Some of the stand-out titles for Caravan magazine include Adora the Explorer (an Adria Adora Isonzo), Stalker (“because she follows us all the time”) and Babby Abbey.

There are some more sentimental pseudonyms, too though. Following a successful brain operation, owner Julia only had one name for the [email protected] 400L that she received – Joy.

Do you name your tourer? Do you pick the name yourself or get the whole family involved? Or do you think the whole idea is ridiculous? Get in touch and let us know on Facebook and Twitter.
