GIANT inflatables of a caravan and motorhome will help The Caravan Club celebrate its centenary at this year’s Lord Mayor’s Show.

The club will take part in the procession around the streets of London on November 10 and will be represented by a float and more than 50 members from around the regions.

Its display will include three giant inflatables floating across the sky, one in the shape of a caravan, one in the shape of a motor caravan and the third depicting Britain’s beautiful countryside.

Caravan Club Chairman Grenville Chamberlain is also taking part, accompanied by his wife Liz and their dog Ebony.

Mr Chamberlain said: “This will be a spectacular sight and a very fitting way to communicate the message of the joys of caravanning.”
