Caravan and motorhome dealers raise cash for Callum
His grandma's idea, the competition helped raise around £550 for Callum, who was diagnosed with leukaemia when he was a toddler, which will go towards paying for travel, accommodation and tickets to Disneyland Paris.
Mary Teresa Boyd, Callum's mum, said: "We are extremely grateful for South Yorkshire Motorhomes and Caravans for putting on the event. Callum's grandma told us that everyone had a great day and I know both the adults and the children enjoyed seeing all the big motorhomes in action.
"We can't believe how much money they managed to raise in such a short space of time. Callum can't wait to see all his favourite characters at Disneyland Paris. The smile on his face will just mean the world to us."
Callum was diagnosed in January 2011 and for over a year has bravely battled leukaemia, losing his blonde hair and, at one point, having to be rushed to the Royal Belfast Hospital for sick children to spend four weeks receiving chemotherapy.
He has since returned to school in Ireland but is still undergoing treatment.
