Caravan and Motorhome Club reveals its 2022 Towcar of the Year
Now in its 39th year, the competition aims to make it easier for caravanners to know which cars could tow their tourer.
Thirty-two cars were divided into 11 different weight classes, including two Family Towcar categories as well as Pick-Up, using their 85% kerbweight figure or by their towing limit, whichever was the lower.
The competition took place in July on the track at UTAC’s Millbrook Proving Ground and was judged by a panel of industry experts including Caravan Editor, Clare Kelly. Vehicles were rigorously assessed for their performance and handling, along with other criteria including space and ease of reversing a caravan.
