Campbells Motorhomes buys former Brownhills site
Campbells Motorhomes has purchased the former Brownhills site at Clifton in PrestonCampbells said it is now "formulating exciting plans for the future", which include expanding its caravan and motorhome business.
Campbells Motorhomes is part of the Campbells group of businesses, which is owned by Brothers Michael and Glen Campbell. Established in 1969 it also includes touring caravan sales and residential homes park operations.
The motorhome business began in some 15 years ago and has now outgrown its present site at Lostock Hall, Preston. As a result, the motorhome business will move into the former Brownhills site.
Daniel Campbell of Campbells Motorhomes said: "This is a perfect location for us to expand our business, it will enable us to offer a better service to existing customers as well as give us a prime location to display our range of new and pre-owned vehicles. "Also, the site has the added benefit of a large indoor showroom. The location has been associated with motorhome sales for many years."
There are no job losses involved with the development plans and the existing motorhome site at Lostock Hall will be used by the touring caravan operation.
"We are keen to expand our business and also recognise that our customers come from all across Great Britain and will therefore generate valuable income for local shops, restaurants, leisure and entertainment centres, etc." added Daniel.
