CARAVAN manufacturer Bailey is responding to the tough economy by re-introducing a micro two-berth to its line up.

The Ranger 380/2 will have an anticipated MPTLM of around 1,000kgs and will be priced at about £10,500.

The manufacturer said it is now including the model in its line up after a three-year absence as people become increasingly concerned about the economy and environment.

A spokesman said: “Ranger has been instrumental in bringing the joys of a touring caravan holiday to a wider audience for over a decade, providing a range of well designed, well equipped yet affordable vehicles for a new generation of caravanners.”

Those looking for extra comfort can opt for the Ranger GT60 models, a limited edition range of the 380/2 launched to mark Bailey’s 60th anniversary, which gets a host of extras.

On the other end of the scale, the company has also revealed details of the California Dreaming luxury single axle four-berth that has been added to its Senator Series 6 range.

The model was conceived using customer feedback gained from the My Bailey Van Caravan Design Competition. Its rear bedroom features a nearside full size double, an en suite transverse end washroom

Bailey’s new caravans go on sale in January.
