Motorhome and caravan manufacturer, Bailey of Bristol, has appointed Nicky Kirkwood as a Non-Executive Director

Nicky has a wealth of leadership and advisory experience across multiple sectors, with a proven track record in driving large-scale business transformation. At Bailey, Nicky will focus on shaping a new ‘people focused’ approach to the company’s future development.

Bailey has already made a number of positive changes recently, including the introduction of a new grading structure for its Operations Team, which has helped to retain and attract staff with a competitive salary and clear progression pathway.

It’s also made important changes to its employee benefits package, including extending full maternity pay to 24 weeks and the funding of HRT (hormone replacement therapy) prescription costs.

In addition to Nicky’s appointment, Bailey has further strengthened its senior management team by promoting Paul Hayward to the position of Director of Supply Chain, David McDonald to Director of New Product Development and Daniel Clay to Director of Human Resources.

Founded in 1948, Bailey now employs over 500 local people across its three Bristol sites, and manufactures 5,000 leisure vehicles per year.
