Bailey unveils two new caravan ranges for 2021

With record numbers of people now purchasing caravans, many for the first time, it’s clear that the hobby is set to become even more popular and the Phoenix+ line up has been created with newcomers in mind. 

Starting at £18,399, there are six single-axle layouts to choose from based on the current Phoenix range; Phoenix+ 420, Phoenix+ 440, Phoenix+ 642, Phoenix+ 644, Phoenix+ 640 and Phoenix+ 650. All have an MTPLM of under 1,450kg making them a more realistic option for less-experienced caravanners to tow. The two-berth Phoenix+ 420 for example, has an MTPLM of just 1146kg so can be paired with an average-sized family car.

The exterior of the Phoenix+ range is a ‘dove grey’ and ‘polar white’ GRP-skinned Alu-Tech bodyshell with fresh graphics while the interior design scheme features curved overhead lockers in ‘Light Oak’, ‘Chesham’ soft furnishings (pale grey seating with dark grey piping, contrasting cushions and patterned curtains) and ‘Hazelnut’ loose fitting carpets. 

Tech is also a key part of the package, too. Truma Combi programmable heating system, DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity and USB points are all included.

Pegasus Grande SE

In addition to the Phoenix+, Bailey has also introduced its Pegasus Grande SE range that encompasses six layouts –two single-axle models and four twin-axle. These are, respectively: Rimini, Brindisi, Bologna, Messina, Turin and Palermo.

Pegasus Grande SE Rimini four-berth with twin beds and the four-bed transverse island double bed Brindisi retail at £23,599 while the rest of the range cost £25,899. 

Based on Bailey’s bestselling 8ft wide line-up, Pegasus Grande, the SE models offer 25% more space – perfect for growing families. The space gained has been thoughtfully utilised in the main living areas with G-shaped front lounge and alternative U-shaped central dinette.

The security conscious caravanner will be reassured by the addition of the latest safety and security equipment, including an AL-KO ATC Trailer Control System, an AL-KO AKS 3004 Stabiliser, a TRACKER Retrieve stolen vehicle recovery system and AL-KO Secure wheel lock receivers fitted as standard. 

All models have received significant upgrades in all areas notably, in the kitchen – a branded Perspex splashback enhanced with chrome and a circular stainless-steel sink. The twin axle models also benefit from a Dometic 10-series 153 litre electronic fridge freezer with universal handed door mechanism.
