Bristol-based Bailey has added a new five-berth caravan to its line-up in a bid to meet the needs of young families new to the hobby

The 8ft-wide Pegasus Grande Ancona has an MTPLM of 1,600kg, and offers greater flexibility to be safely pulled by a wide range of tow vehicles.

Flexible layout

This five-berth model features two lounge areas - the front offers flexibility for two single beds or a double bed configuration, while the rear L-shaped lounge can be made into a double with a pull-out bunk above.

There is a washroom plus a separate shower and a spacious kitchen.

In addition, there are five USB charging points and six 230V sockets, plus an upgraded Bluetooth-compatible sound system.

What are the safety features?

Safety features include: Al-Ko ATC Trailer Control System, Al-Ko AKS 3004 stabiliser, a Tracker Retrieve stolen vehicle recovery system and Al-Ko Secure wheel lock receivers fitted as standard.

Bailey of Bristol Managing Director, Nick Howard, said

With many more young families taking up caravanning for the first time, we wanted to increase the number of options we currently offer to this new audience. The Pegasus Grande SE Ancona provides them with something different, offering them a proven single-axle layout in an 8ft-wide bodyshell for the first time.
