Avondale Coachcraft has appointed five new distributors for its touring caravan range. Burnley-based Whitfords Caravan Centre will cover the Lancashire area and offers an accessory shop and service centre as well as the showroom. The Caravan and Camping Centre Telford will cover the Shropshire area, while Crowland Caravans in Peterborough will cover Cambridgeshire.

Stafford-based Freedom caravans is investing 200,000 to build a dedicated Avondale showroom and East Coast Leisure, which has two sites in Basildon, will sell new and used tourers from the Avondale range.
Sales Manager Robin Huckerby says Avondale has been making a concerted effort to recruit new dealers to the Avondale network:

“We’ve had five new dealers in the last 12 months  and we’re always striving for new dealers” he said. “We’re up into the 40s now, and we will continue to expand to meet the needs of Avondale’s customers.”
