Alde makes caravan hot water systems even more comfortable
Caravan owners, for a long time, have seen Alde’s heating and hot water system as the pinnacle of on-board comfort. How could they hope to improve its current position?
Alde has a simple solution for the hot water system supplying the shower in caravans and motorhomes. It uses less hot water and reduces the risk of accidental hot water injuries too.
It’s the new Alde TMV3 Thermostatic Mixer Valve.
The valve mixes hot and cold water so owners quickly get a comfortable water temperature from their shower. Should the cold water supply run out, the valve cuts off the supply to avoid only hot water coming out, which prevents the risk of scolding. Plus, the valve has protective filters to avoid any internal damage to it from scale or other contaminants.
The Alde Thermostatic Mixer Valve valve is small enough to fit into tight areas of your van, it’s WRAS approved and complies with BSEN1111, ASSE 1070, TMV2, TMV3 standards.
The Thermostatic Mixer Valve works at low flow rates (as low as 1 litre/pm). And, the valve is easy to fit with its supplied bracket and 12mm push fit (Speed Fit) connectors. Alde recommends you fit the TMV3 valve as close to shower as possible, and that it supplies only the shower.
You don’t need an Alde heating system installed either. You can retrofit the TMV3 valve on Truma and Whale heating systems too.
