Chassis specialist AL-KO buys E&P Hydraulics

The parent company of chassis specialist, AL-KO, has acquired the Dutch levelling system producer, E&P Hydraulics. Retaining the existing management team, the E&P brand name will continue under the AL-KO umbrella.

Oliver Drinkwater, Managing Director of E&P Hydraulics UK, said: “AL-KO bought parent company E&P BV, German distributor E&P Germany, and a service centre in Germany that belonged to the German distributor, Kay Fischer.

“I still retain my shareholding in E&P UK and the structure remains the same throughout the E&P business units. E&P UK will continue to report into E&P BV.

“From the customer point of view, nothing will change either. E&P already has a strong and growing dealer network, which I believe is a major contributor to our success so far, with very good aftercare. AL-KO recognises this and doesn’t see any reason to change a winning strategy.”
